PLACE Miami - Preview Edition - an art + design pop up exhibit in the heart of the Miami Design District.
As the magic city of Miami began to re-open and the Miami Design District once again welcomed connoisseurs of fashion, food and culture, we are so honored that PLACE Project Group was an early contributor to this inspiring time.
PLACE Miami - Preview Edition ran from May 28th through July 25, 2020. Featuring artist groupings highlighting the work of Vivian Carbonell (furniture design), Gavin Perry (painting), Tawnie Silva (textile) and Hush Fell (video) curated by Grela Orihuela, Founder & Executive Director of PLACE Project Group. The show stayed true to the PLACE mission: producing hybrid art and design events that cross cultural disciplines, bringing a fresh approach to how a collector experiences and engages with visual art and furniture design.
PLACE Miami - Preview Edition assembled the work in an intimate and immediately inviting manner and brought together a group of artists to start a conversation. Now more than ever we need stimulating, sensory dialogue to remind us how art and design fulfills our lives.
