Grela is a seasoned art fair director, event producer and curator, and founder of 1meter50. 1meter50 is a producer of in-depth art experiences, providing development, strategic planning, and full service direction for art fairs, special events, exhibitions, private collections, and multimedia installations. Grela is co-founder and Executive Producer of Wet Heat Project, the official filmmaker for the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami, and a maker of artist-centric feature and short documentary films and special events since 2008. Grela’s journey began in New York City’s fashion world and led her through distinct career success in large-scale rock & roll, lifestyle content for TV news, and more than a decade of producing global marketing events and exhibitions.
All roads have led to PLACE.
Ellen Houx
Executive Producer
Ellen is a long time business owner, investor, and philanthropist. She co-founded Dorn Homes, a residential real estate company in Arizona which designs and develops master planned communities. The Enchantment, her model home at Sedona Ranch, is award winning and nationally recognized. She is passionate about design and works closely with her team of interior designers to create spaces that speak to lifestyle and mood. In an effort to end homelessness, Dorn Homes, in collaboration with the Coalition for Compassion and Justice, is developing new affordable housing property in Prescott, AZ called the Lodges. Ellen is also an avid collector of contemporary art and design and a devoted patron of the Phoenix Art Museum as well as the Aspen Art Museum.
Charlotte Walters
Show Director
Charlotte brings extensive art fair production experience to PLACE Project Group with over 8 years of fair and event management. Previously she was with the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) as Associate Fair Director and was most recently the Managing Director of Art Los Angeles Contemporary. She is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design and holds a BFA in Photography.
Aubrie Wienholt
Content Director
Aubrie is a seasoned fine art public relations professional with over ten years working in PR, Marketing, SEO, and Event Management. She is the Founder & CEO of PR for Artists in LA, developing campaigns that specialize in media placement, gallery inclusion, pop-up exhibitions, digital marketing, and social media for artists. She brings expertise in content creation, media partnerships and social media management to PLACE.
